The African American Men of Arizona State University (AAMASU) are now accepting applications to participate in the High School-to-College (H2C) Program during the upcoming 2011 -2012 academic school year.
What is the H2C Program?
Coordinated by the African American Men of Arizona State University (AAMASU), the High School-to-College (H2C) Program is a family-centered early outreach initiative that focuses on increasing the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of college and high school students. The program offers a variety of services including college prep workshops and mentoring to high schools students and their parents in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area in an effort to prepare the students for a successful college experience.
Interactive H2C college prep workshops and culturally specific programs are held throughout the academic year on Arizona State University Tempe campus to help the students achieve their goals of earning a college degree.
Workshop topics include: academic study skills, the university admission process, financial aid, preparing for ACT and SAT exams, transitioning from high school to college, and much more. Please see Spring 2011 Participation Recruitment for participation information.
The H2C Program is an invaluable pre-college experience that offers participants the following opportunities:

Spring 2011 Participation Recruitment
Applications are now being accepted to participate in the H2C Program during the upcoming 2010 -2011 academic school year! Participation will begin with the program orientation, which will be held in June 2011.
Participation Eligibility & Tuition
Current 9th grade or freshmen student with high school credits. No other grade levels will be considered at this time for participation.
The participation tuition is $100.00 per student. The fee is due at the program orientation.
Application & Priority Deadline
The priority application deadline is May 31, 2011. Program space is limited. Please submit your application and high school transcript as soon as possible!
