The former lead vocalist of the hit group LTD enjoyed much success with such classics as “Holding On,” “Back in Love Again” and the timeless “Love Ballad.” His solo career followed, which produced 5 gold and platinum albums. Well known favorites include “On the Wings of Love,” “Don’t You Get So Mad,” “Love Power” with Dionne Warwick, “She’s On The Left” and the crowd pleaser “The Woo Woo Song.”.
Soul singer Freddie Jackson is considered to be among the R&B elite of the ‘80s. He dominated the Billboard charts with 11 No. 1 singles, a chain of events that started in 1985 with the hit “Rock Me Tonight.” Hit after hit followed including “You Are My Lady,” “Rock With Me,” “Jam Tonight,” "A Little Bit More" with Melba Moore and “I Don’t Want to Lose Your Love.” In 1988, Jackson won an American Music Award for “Nice and Slow,” a track lifted from his platinum selling album, Don't Let Love Slip Away.
