PHOENIX (April 3, 2013) – The gateway to a strong Christian education and foundation is through The National Congress of Contemporary Christian Training’s (NCCCT) 107 Annual Session held June 9-14, 2013. The weeklong training session at The Phoenix Convention Center boasts inspirational worship services, faith-based entertainment and special performances by keynote speakers such as the Rev. Al Sharpton, Sherre Bishop and Dottie Peoples.
The NCCCT encourages Arizona residents of all ages to join them for this year’s new look on Christian training, focusing on building a steady foundation in attendees’ lives as well as teach a deeper knowledge of faith-based concepts and life enhancing, leadership skills. The theme is “Build Your Life on a Sure and Steady Foundation” (Matt. 7:24-25). Attendees will enjoy presentations by renowned speakers and entertainers and will have the opportunity to engage in course offerings, seminars and dance and drill competitions.
Dr. Bernard Black of South Phoenix Missionary Baptist Church hosts the 2013 Congress. Sponsored by R.H. Boyd Publishing Corporation, National Congress is one of the most historical and religious conferences in the country and aims to produce the highest quality of inspirational, Christian education. The NCCCT is a traveling school of Christian educators and leaders who reach out to communities across the country.
There are over 50 course offerings that cater to adults and youth at the Congress. Some of these courses include: The Making of Disciples, Religious Dance for Youth, Spiritual Renewal for Christian Men and Vacation Bible School. Other events for attendees to participate in are the Congress choir, March for Jesus Parade, First Lady’s Fashion Show and late-night worship services.
