Phoenix Urban Business Expo is a family-friendly festival-style event designed to showcase small minority-owned businesses of the Valley in an exciting new way. We’re calling all entrepreneurs in technology, fashion, entertainment, business and financial services, the arts, health, beauty and more to come out on Saturday, November 12th at Steele Indian School Park to connect with new customers, fellow business owners and the entire community like never before!

Strengthening the Community

Supporting black business is good for everyone. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency, black-owned buyers and firms are an important component of our nation’s economic growth:

 The African American population had an estimated buying power of about $910 billion in 2009, larger than the purchasing power of all but 16 countries worldwide, including Australia ($824 billion), Taiwan ($718 billion), and the Netherlands ($654 billion).

 African American firms are an engine of job creation, with paid employment growing by 22 percent between 2002-2007, from 754,000 to 921,000.

This event is free and open to the public! Business owners can take advantage of an early bird registration rate of just $100 for Expo Booths. Get more information and register now at
